TeckWrap
Matte Metallic Charcoal Grey Vinyl Wrap (ECH03) 1

Description

Most matte greys either look like primer or wash out under any light. Charcoal Grey does neither. It holds a true flat finish with just enough metallic texture underneath to keep the color from ever looking chalky or unfinished.

Key Attributes

  • True flat finish: zero gloss and zero shine, reads as matte from every angle and every light
  • F ine metallic texture: aluminum flake keeps the grey from looking like primer or a chalky base coat
  • Engineered finish: high-grade polymeric calendared vinyl film with air-release channels for a smooth, even matte
  • Clean chemistry: Henkel solvent-based acrylic adhesive, transparent and weather-resistant, removes residue-free
  • Deep conformability: stretches over flat panels, moderate curves, and deep recesses with inlays
  • Paint-safe: removable adhesive protects the factory finish underneath

Charcoal Grey doesn't try to catch the light the way a satin or metallic finish does. It holds a completely flat, non-reflective grey in every condition, dark enough to read as a serious, professional color rather than a plain primer grey. Look closely and there's a fine metallic texture underneath the surface, just enough to give the color some depth without ever introducing shine. It's built for owners who want a wrap that reads as intentional and clean rather than unfinished.

OEM Match

  • Closest to a matte take on Audi Nardo Grey
  • Same flat, professional register as BMW's Frozen Grey program
  • Darker and cooler than Mercedes-Benz Selenite Grey
  • Cleaner than a typical primer-style aftermarket matte

That flat factory-matte look from BMW's Frozen program or an Audi RS special edition now fits a Civic Type R, F-150, or Wrangler just as easily as an M4 Competition.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this calendered film, and does that make it a budget product?

No. Cast and calendered are manufacturing methods, not quality grades. Choose the construction that fits the vehicle and use.

Does a wrap protect my paint?

It helps against UV, road film and light contact. For stone-chip and impact protection, use PPF.

Do I have to buy all the film at once?

Yes. Order the whole job plus about 20 percent from one production batch for color consistency.

Can I wrap over a respray?

Only when the paint is fully cured and sound. Test repaired paint before installation.

Should I ceramic coat it?

Optional, but useful for cleaning and stain resistance. Use a coating formulated for vinyl wrap.
